This new pedal model replaces the Shimano Deore PD-M530 and has a 7.7mm wider body. It also features a raised rear end which is said to bring about 12% more pedal body contact with the shoe. Designed to work seamlessly with SHIMANO AM series shoes, SPD trail pedals provide greater stability on rough terrain.
